What is up with these figures from Umisho??? They are seriously the worst looking figures (at least their faces) in a long time. And their outfits are so boring they don’t make up for it at all.

I jumped to the announcement there were gonna be Umisho figures but when I saw the actual product, I was like Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

@ meronpan – I can’t type in Japanese on this computer. But “Kimoi” is definitely the most accurate description of these…things. Yes, I would like to meet the guy who approved them too…so I can PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE!!!
heheh i guess maki has some class and doesn’t resort to the slang term ^^;
i’d probably say something more along the lines of
「うわっ 何だこれ？！ 気持ち悪ぃじゃねーか？！」 (in my best Harima voice ^_^ [uwa nanda kore?! kimochiwari jyane-ka?!])
haven’t quite worked kimoi into my speech… kinda feels like a feminine word? perhaps that’s just ‘cuz i most often see it in the context of “girl trying to get rid of annoying guy” ^^;;

I dunno, I feel it’s kimoi in the way that Figma Doara is “Yoku ugoku, kimoi” lol. Just…freaky I guess xD I don’t know how to describe it lol. Creepy or freaky maybe…
